This will help you to install the aftermarket 1080p 25Hz front camera into your car.

A) Hardware

1. Wire camera cable from front of car to the headunit.
2. Plug the camera cable into the 5th white plug.

B) Software

Go to:

1. CarSettings
2. System Settings (Navigation Bar)
3. Factory Settings (Password 1617)
4. Feature Setting
5. Select Double recording
6. Save (top right corner, the headunit will restart)
7. App menu
8. Recorder
9. DVR
10. Camera type
11. Select front camera AHD 1080p 25Hz
12. If you purchased our AHD 1080p 25Hz reverse camera select this one too.

This will help you to install the aftermarket 1080p 25Hz rear camera into your car.

A) Hardware

1. Plug in Single cable with yellow plug in the head unit
2. Connect camera cable with yellow plug. 
3. Connect other end of camera cable with yellow plug of camera.
4. Connect the red cable with power source of rear light of your car.
5. Wire camera cable from front of car to back of car.

B) Software

Go to:

1. CarSettings
2. System Settings (Navigation Bar)
3. Factory Settings (Password 1617)
4. Backcar settings
5. Select 1080p 25Hz (if you want to retain the factory check what camera is build in your car, most cars have a CVBS-NTSC)
6. Save (top right corner)

The unit will restart now. After the restart, the setting are live. Engage reverse to test the camera. If the camera doesn't show up automatically, check the hardware parts again. Make sure all cables are connected properly.

This will help you to enable the steering wheel control.

Please make sure the ignition key is on "On" otherwise it wont work.

A) Non canbus model

Go to:

1. 1. All apps
   2. Steering wheel learning
   3. Press Start
   4. Follow the steps on the screen. (make sure to long press the buttons on the steering wheel as requested)
   5. Press finish

B) Canbus model (settings are usually pre-set for you)

Go to:

1. 1. MyCar
   2. Diagnosis
   3. Car
   4. Select your canbus decoder (name on canbus decoder)
   5. Select your Car and Model

Please make sure, that the data cable of the canbus decoder is plugged in:

If some but not all SW buttons work, you can program those via the MyCar App, since the McCar app is the link between the board computer and the head unit.

If your Car is factory amplified you need to adjust the settings to have sound.

Hardware:

1. Check if the AMP-C trigger cable is connected, so the Amplifier knows to turn on when the headunit is switched on. If your car has a canbus, the AMP-C trigger wire is often controlled by the canbus decoder.

Software (canbus model):

1. MyCar
2. Settings
3. Other settings
4. Function select
5. Amplifier

Software (non-canbus model and aftermarket amplifier):

1. CarSettings
2. General Settings
3. Select Amplify

If the side buttons are not responding due to factory reset.

Go to:

1. CarSettings
2. System Settings (Navigation Bar)
3. Factory Settings (Password 1617)
4. Touch Study
5. Touch Study
6. Save (top right corner)

Some car models do share car door information with your head unit. If your door window information is reversed (mostly happens for front doors), we just have to change a setting.

Go to: 

1. MyCar
2. Settings
3. Door window settings
4. FDoor exchange

That's it!

DAB+ allows you to receive digital radio. The quality is better compared to the old analog AM/FM standard and you also have more channels.

Antenna:

1. Stick the antenna on the passenger side of the windscreen as per instruction
2. Wire it to the back of the headunit
3. Connect it to the 6-pin USB plug (P32 user manual)

Software:

1. Open Playstore
2. Download the DAB-Z Player

If your camera is horizontally mirrored, you can change this in the settings.

Go to:

1. CarSettings
2. General
3. Reverse Mirror

This will help you to retain the factory rear camera of your car.

A) Hardware

1. Plug in Single cable with yellow RCA plug in the head unit
2. Connect camera retention cable with the yellow RCA plug. 
3. Connect other end to the factory camera plug.

B) Software

Go to:

1. CarSettings
2. System Settings (Navigation Bar)
3. Factory Settings (Password 1617)
4. Backcar settings
5. Select CVBS-NTSC, this is the most standard factory reverse camera. If it does not work check online what camera is build in your car and select acordingly.
6. Save (top right corner)

The unit will restart now. After the restart, the setting are live. Engage reverse to test the camera. If the camera doesn't show up automatically, check the hardware parts again. Make sure all cables are connected properly.

If the side retractable antenna does not come up when the radio is switched on.

Ensure, that the power antenna cable is connected to the ANT: Power cable (user manual P31)

Go to:

3. Factory Settings (Password 16176699)
4. Customized Settings
5. Radio antenna powered

Some cars, especially the ones with smaller antennas have a stronger radio booster in their factory head unit, while others with larger antennas do not. To compensate for that, we include a radio booster in our delivery.

Hardware:

1. plug male antenna cable into the new head unit
2. plug male antenna cable of the car in the radio booster
3. connect 12V blue cable to 12V ACC

Additional radio settings:

4. Radio setting
5. FM sensitivity

Some car models like the Ford Ranger PX II and Mitsubishi Tritons have a split factory head unit.

That means, that not only the screen has to be unplugged, but also the actual factory head unit. The actual factory head unit has the plug with the speaker wires and 12V suply in the back. The screen on the top does not have that plug, and will therefore not power on the new head unit, if that is the only plug inserted in the adapter harness!

When plugging the factory harness of the Mitsubishi Triton into the adapter harness you have to differentiate if you have a 360° Camera or not. Please see the photo instruction for details:

In order to connect, find the fan plug that's shown in this picture below. It is plugged into one of the RCA harnesses as well. Then connect the RCA harness to the head unit accordingly (refer to Page 31-32 User Manual).

If you want to use google maps, youtube, netflix or any other app which requires internet, you want to connect your headunit with a Wifi, or insert a simcard.

Wifi (most custumers prevered option):

1. Go into the Android Settings of your headunit
2. Network & Internet
3. Connect to the Wifi of your phones hotspot

Simcard:

Insert a simcard to use the dataplan of a simcard, just like you would on your phone.

Ask your provider about a dual simcard, this means the simcard in your headunit has the same phone number as your phone wich means if your phon rings your headunit will receive this phone call too. You can also just purchase a data only simcard.

Our standard navigation app is Google Maps.

Google Maps works exactly like on your phone.

If you wish to operate Google Maps while not being connected to wifi (enable hotspot on your phone),

you can insert a sim card, or download offline maps for your region.

Download offline maps:

1. Open Google Maps
2. Click right next to the microphon on your google account initial or photo
3. Offline maps
4. Select the region you want to download

Change standard navigation app:

1. CarSettings
2. Navi software settings
3. Navi software settings: Maps
4. Select your desired app (Note any app can be selected not just navigation apps)

You can play videos from Youtube Netflix Stan ec. just like you would on your phone or tablet.

We recomend not using this feauture while driving as it can be distractive for the driver.

To enable video playing while driving for the passenger go to:

1. CarSettings
2. General Settings
3. General
4. Switch Parking off

If you can't download Netflix via the PlayStore as some google accounts recognise that the device is a car head unit and want to stop you from watching videos, simply open the chrome browser type Netflix.apk download in the seach bar and download it.

Android & Apple Carplay works via Zlink5 app.

You can operate Carplay via USB and wireless.

Headunit settings:

1. Car Settings
2. Default Setting
3. Select Car play

USB:

1. Connect the headunit with Wifi
2. Open Zlink5 to activate it
3. Use a data USB cable (USB symbol on the cable, if that symbol is not on the cable it is only a charging cable)
4. Connect Phone via USB to the 4 pin USB plug (6 Pin is for DAB+)

Wireless:

• Headunit:

1. Connect the headunit with Wifi
2. Open Zlink5 to activate it
3. Enable Hotspot on the headunit (use 5Ghz for better connection)
4. Connect phone via Bluethooth with the headunit
5. Connect phone to the Wifi of the headunit
6. Open Zlink5 (if it does not work procide to phone settings)

• Phone Settings:

1. Open Android Auto
2. Select wireless carplay yes
3. (if not visable) Tap Version number on the very bottom quick multible times until developer mode is enabled
4. Click on settings in the top right corner
5. Developer mode
6. Enable wireless carplay
7. Connect to Wifihotspot of the headunit
8. Connect to Bluetooth of the headunit
9. Open Zlink5

To ensure a smooth operation ensure battery saving mode is off and 5GHz wifi is used. Note you are running the apps via your phone and display them on the head unit, if your phone is slow so is the CarPlay therefore. 

We experience the question about the phone connectivity from time to time, also during our installers installations. He has therefore 4 different phones with him to be able to show the customer that the car play works flawlessly. Customers usually fix an unstable connection to the car play by deleting the commonly overloaded Bluetooth and wifi list or resetting their long overloaded phone. The head unit itself is equipped with the newest car play which works really reliably.

Some customers whose phone is too old to be able to connect wirelessly can only use it via USB.

To disable the floating A/C settings in the left corner of the screen go to:

5. Scroll down and select AC
